The old lady next door lets us know if our empty trash cans are at the curb for too long/the Chinese menu is on our fence for too long/the newspaper is on the stoop for too long/mail in the mailbox too long… And with fall her new thing is if the leaves are on the ground for too long
Sometimes I’ll see this old lady actually drag the cans into our yard. Her new passive, soon to be aggressive, hint with the leaves is to tell us in her undistinguishable accent (portugese?) “hmmmm lots of leaves!”
I refuse to be nagged. I say let the old bag sweep them herself. Will used to be the do-gooder and sweep right away, but his enthusiasm is waning since this is a daily occurrance.
Oh god wait for the snow shoveling sagas
There she is in action. I think you can tell where her property starts.
